How Can I Get To Water Tower Hill, Croydon From Hounslow?
I have to go to water tower hill , croydon ( london ) from Hounslow. I’ve found that I need to change so many time if I take BUS and train ( over ground ). Is there any way to get to there by taking underground . I dont want to change so many time . ( It’s ok for me if I have to change for so many time in underground).

Piccadilly to Hammersmith or South Ken
Change to District to Victoria
Victoria to Brixton
Bus 196 to Norwood Junction Station
Walk to Portland Road / High Street
Bus 130 to New Addington
Coombe Lane Tram Stop
Take the Croydon Tram Link towards Wimbledon
Lloyd Park Tram Stop
You could go from Hounslow tube station along the Picaddilly line to Green Park, change onto the Victoria line and take that to Victoria station. You can then get a National Rail (Southern) train to East Croydon Station, and then you’ll have to walk to Water Tower Hill.
Its going to take the best part of an hour and abit, but its probably quicker than the Overground.
I don’t envy you, as I know that journey well…. best way to do it, is to drive.
But if you have to go via public transport, I’d suggest a train to waterloo, then Northern tube line to South Wimbledon or Morden, then a bus(can’t help you with which number though).
good luck, not a pleasant journey.
Houslow to Clapham Junction on the train, then Clapham Junction to East/West/South Croydon by train them local bus or tram.
Go from Hounslow to Wimbledon on the underground and then you can get a tram straight to Croydon from there.
Just do it.
