tussauds london
Jesss S asked:

Hi I’m French (I precise it because my English is not really good)
I’m going to London in a few days, and I was wondering which places I should visit.. museums, the best restorations, all around Hyde Park, or farther..
I already know I’m going to “Madame Tussauds”, and an other one museum.. but if you have an idea.. I’m “open” !

Thanks, bye

On of the best things we did on our London trip was take the train out to Kew. It’s a quaint little English town and Kew Palace and Gardens are there…you can wander through these massive old gardens and tour the palace. It was just a lovely day. We also had tea across the street from the gardens at a place called The Original Maids of Honour which is famous for a traditional afternoon tea.

If you like museums, you should go to British Museum and/or National Gallery. Both are great museums and they were free last time I was there (8 years ago).

If you prefer parks, go to St. James park. If you take the underground, get off at Green Park, walk through the park towards Buckingham Palace, take a look at it, then go through St. James Park towards Whitehall. There you have Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey to your right or Trafalgar Square on the left. You can walk to Trafalgar Square, then to Leicester Square and Soho, or go right from Trafalgar Square towards the City of London (on Strand). If you don’t want to walk, take bus number 15 or 24, it will take you to all the major tourist attractions for the price of a single bus ride.
