I don’t know why but i say the popes swiss guards. Sounds funny but I always imagined them knowing martial arts.

Got to be the Beefeaters i dont think the Vatican guard have ever fought before if so they have not got the experience, like us Brits

the beefeaters easily, they are tough even though they wear dresses.

Good question. But theoretical only. Certainly the Swiss Guards would have youth on their side–they usually serve in their 20’s and early 30’s. All have served military duty in the Swiss Army. On the other hand, Beefeaters are usually British regular soldiers with 20 or more years service. So the Beefeaters would have some more experience and training. Many have served in combat at some point. Swiss guards have not—Switzerland has never been in a war in centuries, and does not send Swiss troops as UN Peacekeepers, for example. They maintain their neutrality. Both have their role in the ceremonies and pomp of each unit, and neither of them would really like to fight in the ancient obsolete costumes they usually wear !
