    They are essential use in the London area as a taxi but highly unsuitable as a family car.
    A new one will cost in excess of £30,000.

    Well mainly because its a classic icon of the United Kingdom and London! think of it, tourists go to London for travel, AND to see the Classic* Red double decker bus, and the black cab.

    Same reason they have the balls to sell Land Rovers Range Rovers LDV vans Aston Martins TVRs and Rovers with K series engines,because the British will pay through the nose for any old bag of shi*e as long as its made in the UK.
